The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is approaching an important milestone — its 60th anniversary. To help commemorate the occasion, our team is producing a series of interviews with individuals who helped shape the organization’s history. Through these conversations, the project captures stories of leadership, progress, and the lasting impact the agency has had across the community.
The project involves interviewing long-time staff members, advocates, and individuals who have played a role in the organization’s growth over the decades. Their reflections provide a powerful look at how services and support systems for individuals with developmental disabilities have evolved. As March is also Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, it feels especially meaningful to help document and share the stories behind an organization that has made such an important difference for so many families.
